Description
Silhouette placemats draw inspiration from the lyrical line drawings of Henri Matisse, particularly his intimate portraits of his daughter, Marguerite. Reduced to their essential contours, the figures celebrate the elegance of form and the quiet poetry of a silhouette.
Each placemat is embroidered on fine linen, where delicate stitches echo the fluidity of an artist’s line. The pair is creating a sense of dialogue, balance, and presence in any setting.
